Breast cancer. My paternal grandmother is a survivor. Youngest Aunt is also a survivor. Both had mastectomy. Fourth Aunt discovered a lump, but hers was not malignant.
Breast cancer is very common indeed. October, being the breast cancer awareness month, campaigns the awareness of the disease and to raise funds for the research of this disease.
Yesterday, I visited the Breast Cancer Awareness Booth at Bintang Plaza Megamall, where breast examination pamphlets were given out, and pink ribbons were given out.
There were also souvenirs being sold for fund-raising purposes. The booth was manned by the local Breast Cancer Support Group members.
Everyone has a story to tell and I need to tell the stories in my life ...
