Me : Class, we are going to begin our lesson with a simple game. You will be given a slip of paper that contains a word. Read it and keep it to yourself. Based on that word, you are going to find your partner. Do you know of words that pair?
Class : Like what, teacher?
Me : Sweet and sour go together. Hot and spicy. Rock and roll, for example.
Class : Gay and lesbian, teacher.
Me : That's a valid example. Now, you are going to read the word in your paper and then go around the class and ask your classmates, "Are you ...?" till you find the correct partner. For example, if your word is "rock", you have to ask, "Are you ROLL?"
Class : Teacher, if I get the word "gay", then will I have to ask, "Are you lesbian?"
Lol. These kiddies are trying to be funny. But at least I know they understood the instructions. ;))
