Rice Rolls

I'm not sure what these are called.

But I call them rice rolls.

The aunties at the market call them chee cheong fun 猪肠粉 or just cheong fun 肠粉 ... and they are only available on Tuesdays when the kuih vendor comes to set up stall.

RM1.60 per roll ... 2 rolls filled a plate

There were shredded jicama, carrots and black woodear fungus ... you can tell that the vegetables were shredded by hand and stir-fried, before being rolled up in a thin rice noodle sheet. The garnish consisted of spring onions, chillies, and deep-fried shallots. Yums ;)
