Taiyaki Ice Cream

We were walking around Boulevard Shopping Mall ... and we saw that there is this Taiyaki Ice Cream poster ... and of course we wanted to eat it. However, we waited for 30 minutes for our taiyaki to be cooked! So long! We enquired and the staff told us that there was something wrong with the machine and urged us to be patient. Of course, they were apologetic about it ..... and so we did not make a scene. :P

Taiyaki with red bean filling, served with vanilla ice-cream

Well, the waffle was still hot when they pumped the ice-cream atop it .... and hence it melted so quickly. It was a real mess when the ice-cream melted and dripped all over the table and the floor ... 

The vanilla ice-cream was also tasteless .... not milky at all. 

The taiyaki waffle was soft and chewy, and there was a reasonable amount of sweet adzuki beans inside. 

Hmn .... this is the first and last time I'll be eating this ice-cream here. :((
